Malaysian Environment

Digging away a land slide

The Malaysian Rainforest is an incredible place, and we encourage our expedition participants to make the most of the experience. It has always been a policy of ours to work with the local people as we travel through their land.

As the convoy makes its way through ancient tracks and disused logging trails, it is normal for us to collect rubbish from the roads, stop and chat to the local communities and repair bridges and river crossings.

Bridge repairs and track clearance is always carried out using sustainable materials and recycled parts wherever possible. Moving logs and digging away landslides is performed by hand... we'll keep you fit !

By being sympathetic to the local environment and respecting the local area, you can be sure that we receive a warm welcome.
