Originator of Volvo drop axle conversions to LR 109s in 1998.
Rain Forest Challenge Chief Scout and Recce Crew Leader for 10 years from 1998 - 2008.

Organiser of 4x4 competitions and off road vehicle launches in Malaysia and Thailand.

Support Crew and Co Organiser of overland expeditions for World-Explorer.
Event Director of X-Men Xtreme Adventure Trips.

Owner of our fleet of Land Rovers.

 

Martin Lewis. Event Director

British.    30 years a Land Rover enthusiast. Built, modified, raced and rallied Land Rovers at events all over the world.
Competed in Rain Forest Challenge , Malaysia 3 times, Xtreme International, Australia 2 times.
Competition course designer and senior member of the recce crew for RFC, 2002 - 2007.
Driven and trekked through most of Malaysia ’s jungles with Atek.
Event mechanic and support crew on major Overland Expeditions.
Organiser of Extreme 4x4 Sport winch challenge competitions including Tough Trucks Trophy.

 

Elizabeth Lewis - Logistics / Administrator

RFC for 10 years, first year attended as journalist and then became a member of organisational team. Freelance photojournalist for various international motoring magazines.Lived and worked in Malaysia and a frequent jungle traveller with Atek and Alyna. Competed in all forms of off-road motorsport during the past 20 years. Worked for World-Explorer on International Overland Expeditions. Administrator for Extreme 4x4 Sport winch challenge competitions in the UK , including the Tough Trucks Trophy.

Alyna Tai - Co-Organiser & Cook

Malaysian. Founder Member of Land Rover Owners Malaysia . RFC Scout Team for 10 years. Accompanies Atek on all recces and trips. Very experienced jungle traveller and superb jungle cook who will produce meals you'll remember for a long time. Business woman in Kuala Lumpur .

Our logistic support in KL.

Liz and Martin- based in UK . Publicise and organise the events. Liaise with the participants regarding trips and dates. Work alongside Rate and Alyna during the event and organise logistics in UK .

Atek and Alyna - based in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . Find and recce the routes and organise the logistics Malaysian end.
